The slightest wave of a sound, thump thump, felt only by the sole from the intended soul.
a quick shuffle looses the sandal to allow bareness to anticipate more, thump thump
a deeper knowing, something lives under mother’s soiled covering
bare hands find their way to the ground, reaching for the sound, thump thump
followed by bare chest and body, stretched out between heaven and earth
waiting, longing to feel again, thump thump
heaven sends healing waves on uncovered skin, over back and thighs, encouraging the sound
earth pulses gently under chest and knee, returning heaven’s love
an altar, a place for the sacred, holy
the space between heaven and man, and man and earth, thump thump
what lies beneath, a living heart, suddenly remembering an ancient song
from the dust of the earth it was created and has waited
it belongs to the man, it belongs to the earth, it belongs to heaven
each pulse awakening the union of the three into one, thump thump
a sleeping giant, covered in soft fur wakes from it’s ordained sleep
it reaches through the earth, covering the man completely, and uniting with heaven’s light
an ancient bear has found his home among the Children again
the Children are blessed
they wait no longer
